매년 6월과 12월에 오픈콜을 진행합니다. 자세한 일정은 (salt) 웹사이트와 인스타그램을 통해 확인해 주세요.
2. 입주 시 필요한 준비물이 있나요?
기본적인 소모품과 생활용품은 제공됩니다. 자세한 구비품 목록은 layover rules를 참조해 주세요.
3. layover 입주 기간 동안 작업한 결과물을 제출해야 하나요?
아니요, (salt)는 layover 레지던트에게 결과물을 요구하지 않습니다. 결과물에 대한 부담 없이 쉬어가길 바라는 마음으로 준비한 프로그램입니다. 잠시 일상과 일터에서 떨어져 제주에 머무르며 다음 목적지로 가기 전 숨을 가다듬고 기다리며 계획하는 경유의 시간이 되길 바랍니다.
4. layover 프로젝트가 무엇인가요?
layover 레지던트가 입주 기간동안 (salt) 공간 안에서 커뮤니티 혹은 투숙객과 함께하는 활동입니다. 프로젝트는 협의 후 진행하며 이후 layover 프로젝트로 아카이브 됩니다. 특정한 작업이나 워크숍 외에도 자유로운 형식으로 프로젝트 제안주셔도 됩니다.
5. (salt)에서 전시, 공연 등의 행사를 열어도 되나요?
입주 기간 동안 (salt) 공간에서 활동을 원할 경우 1층 공간 TFF(The First Floor)를 협의 후 이용 가능합니다.
6. 상업적인 활동을 해도 되나요?
입주 기간 동안 개인적 상업 활동은 불가합니다. 다만 이후 팝업 혹은 협업 등을 원하시는 경우 제안 주시면 협의 가능합니다.
7. layover도 (salt)의 운영 방식처럼 비대면 구조인가요?
아니요. 레지던트는 장기간 (salt) 커뮤니티의 공간을 함께 사용하는 만큼 체크인 시 (salt) 스태프가 직접 레지던트의 입주를 도와드리고 인사 나누는 시간을 갖습니다. 이외에도 (salt) 커뮤니티와 함께 시간을 보내길 원하시면 언제든 말씀 주세요.
8. 본인 외 객실 사용이 가능한가요?
layover 레지던트를 위해 제공하는 307호는 1인 전용이며 본인 외 객실 사용이 불가합니다.
layover는 창작자가 자기 자신에게 집중한 쉼을 제공하려는 의도로 기획하여, 되도록 참여 당사자만 방문하시는 것을 추천해 드립니다.
9. layover에서 제공되는 차량은 누구나 대여 가능한가요?
레지던트 중 만 28세 이상, 혹은 자차 소유 및 최근 운전 경력 1년 이상인 분만 대여 가능합니다. 또한 본인 외 운전은 불가합니다.

3. Do I need to make a complet work during the ‘layover’ period?
No, (salt) does not require any result during and after the stay. ‘layover’ is an artists’ retreat program hoping the creatives to have time away from your everyday life and work without any pressure. We hope you breathe and plan for the next destination during your time in Jeju.
4. What is ‘layover’ projects?
‘layover’ projects are the archive of the activities that former residents had done during their stay. Although it is not required, you are welcome to suggest a project you would like to hold at (salt), or with (salt) community. It will be archived as ‘layover’ projects.
5. Can I hold an event such as exhibitions and performances at (salt)?
If you wish to hold an event at (salt) during your stay, send us a proposal. TFF(The First Floor) is available after the (salt) community’s review.
6. Can I hold a commercial event?
Personal commercial activities are not permitted during the stay. However, if you would like to do a pop-up store or a collaboration in the future, please send us a proposal.
7. Does ‘layover’ also operate as untact system like (salt) accommodation?
No, since ‘layover’ residents will stay a good period of time, (salt) community greets you and introduces the facilities and rules in person. Also you can always let us know if you would like to spend more time with the community.
8. Can someone else use the provided room?
The provided room #307 is only for ‘layover’ residents. ‘layover’ is intended to provide artists a time to rest, focusing on themselves, so we recommend visiting Jeju this time on your own.
9. Can anyone rent and drive the sharing car?
Only residents who are 28 years of age or older, or have at least one year of recent driving experience. Driving other than yourself is prohibited.
